Kia Etemadi
Kia Etemadi was seven years old when she created her first fashion design -- a dress for the doll of a friend.
Kia started on her professional career path after leaving her native Tehran and moving to England. Even when she was still a student in design school in London, her work became well known in fashion houses such as Giorgio Armani, Cecil Gee, and Place Vendome.
Fifteen years working in the fashion industry in London, including Armani and Place Vendome on Old Bond Street, gave her extensive knowledge of European style and of designer products such as Valentino, Chanel, Christian Dior, Yves St. Laurent, and Odicini.
Ms. Etemadi then relocated to the United States and began her American career at Saks Jandel as a head tailor. In 2006, she realized her "American dream" and started her own fashion design business.
Kia has a teenage daughter named Paris, who, in her proud mother's words, "is very talented in art and occasionally does some drawings and designs for her." When Kia has time, she likes to practice her favorite sport -- swimming -- and indulge in her favorite hobby -- traveling and seeing new places.
Kia's passion for exploring new things extends to creative interests as well. She has studied floral arrangement and studied professional interior design.
